Inspired by the classic French market basket, my Market Basket is an easy, beautiful essential all year-round.
It's not shouty and it always works with any outfit. I use a clutch with my everyday bits and pop it in my market basket when I'm heading out.
I take it to the beach, grocery store, the flower market, and for weekends away. When travelling, I scrunch it into my suitcase and it still looks great when I take it out and hit the streets.
At home, I even use one as a clothes basket and another for shoe storage around the house. I keep a stack on the pegboard in my hallway and always keep one in my car.
These market baskets were custom made in Morocco, using a traditional strong Berber weave. In addition to their handles, they feature long leather shoulder straps for added versatility.
