Snuggled Away

Since having my children, there really is no simpler joy than snuggling in and reading to them before bed, and ‘Snuggled Away’ is the perfect book for our time together at the end of the day.

I love how their eyes light up as the story unfolds and they are transported into the Australian landscape, with a nighttime chorus of nocturnal animals. It’s a most treasured moment watching imaginations carry the story forward. 

My Mum still has some of my favourite childhood books that she reads to my children and I can’t wait to pass this book on to my grandchild in years to come as well.

Author Cate Storey’s warming words are matched with the glorious illustrations by Sarah Matsuda, making you feel as though you are watching the animals in the night sky with the soft sounds of their feet in the distance.
