By using placemats you are creating such a kind and thoughtful gesture to your guests. As it's a way of putting your guests at ease when they glance over to the table upon arriving, seeing you have thought about where each person will be sitting and made it comfortable for them.

These natural Woven Placemats are inspired by weekends on our island home, I wanted to bring a sense of joy and playfulness to the table when entertaining with friends and family, while still keeping the details elegant and timeless.

They add such a surprise element to the table and are understated in their colour way of natural woven fibre

I like to have about 6 or 8 on hand when setting the table for family and friends, this way I can scale up or down, depending on who is coming.

They are a refined addition to either indoor or alfresco dining and pair perfectly with my Fringed Napkin Rings and Marigold Tablecloth and Fringed Napkins.

They add a beautiful textural element to the table and also a lovely handmade artisan element. Each placemat has been handmade by a skilled wicker weaver in Ecuador.
